It’s funny how easy it is for children to be 100% in the present moment and adults find it so difficult.
Have you ever watched a young child at play? They are fully engrossed in what they are doing. They aren’t wasting a single atom of their being wondering what others are thinking about them or how well they are performing the task at hand.
In contrast, many adults put most of their focus on constantly evaluating their actions and listening to the internal voices of self-doubt.
With every passing year, most of us lose our childlike wonder and confidence. We become less spontaneous, less content with who we are and this saps our ability to live joyfully in the moment.
We were all born to shine, to be talented, creative individuals. Unfortunately, our once celebrated uniqueness becomes the thing we try to suppress in order to conform. If we want to retain our childlike innocence, we have to be prepared to live in the moment.
"Life is not a journey, it's like a musical. The point isn't to arrive, but to dance and sing whilst the music plays." -Alan Watt

The choice is between playing your way to success and worrying about never achieving it.
